Micro Soccer...

Colten started Micro Soccer on Monday night and LOVED every minute of it. He did REALLY well and was very annoyed with the other children around him that just wanted to play games and not "focus" on soccer practice. I have a feeling he will be a sports nut just like his daddy is. He has been asking for WEEKS when he gets to start soccer so on Monday night when we told him it was FINALLY time he was beyond ecstatic to get to go.
He even posed for a couple of pictures (which he NEVER does). I think he knew if he stopped and took the pictures I would leave him alone.

Once we got going he NEVER looked back at us. He was in a focused zone! While they finished checking in the other kids they had a chance to just explore the field and kick their new soccer balls around! He loved this part!

Once everyone was checked in they gathered all the kids together. Colten was a little bored during this! He didn't want to sit around and talk he wanted to play soccer!

Now it was time for drills with the coaches. I love that you could see the excitement on his face during this.

He goes back tonight. I'm sure he will be just as excited as he was on Monday!

Grandma Time Continued...

Thought I would share the rest of the pictures that Grandma took while we were in Oklahoma last week. These are much better since they were taken with her camera instead of a cell phone!

This Week's happening's...

Now that baseball season is officially over we jump straight into all of our summer activities.
Colten is going to miss spending so much time with all the players but I'm sure it won't take him to long to get over the fact he misses them, and if not at least he will be busy without much free time to think about it!

There won't be much free time this summer to mess around so hopefully Aubrey got it out of her system this past spring.

On top of going to school Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday we have lots of nightly activities!

Tonight (Monday) Colten has his first soccer practice (for his first leg of soccer season he goes to a soccer camp in July as well).
Tuesday night we have karate...

Wednesday is our second soccer practice for the week. Thursday night their is gymnastics!

Friday we have our last karate class before testing on Saturday morning (he will be testing for his camo belt and is beyond excited about it)!

Saturday will be karate testing first thing in the morning, then hopefully Justin will get a round of golf in while the kids go and visit Bennie (their second cousin).

Whew! After all that hopefully Sunday will be a day of mainly rest.
But we can't get to comfortable as Miss Mya has her first birthday party!

Of course hopefully at some point this weekend we will get to spend some time in the pool...which reminds me I need to get them enrolled in some form of swimming lessons.

Grandma Time...

The last few weeks have been a blur! It has been crazy busy around the Tadtman household with activities, work, trips, and everyday life. With this said Colten and Aubrey have been blessed to spend LOTS of time with both of their Grandma's! Week before last I went down to Oklahoma City to meet Justin for the Big 12 Baseball Tournament and this year we decided it would be best to leave the kids behind. We are spoiled rotten and have LOTS of people who love our children and ALWAYS jump at the chance to take care of them. While I was gone my dad and his wife took care of them for a couple of days and then the Grandma's did the rest of the time together. All in all the kids were SPOILED rotten and had a lot of fun. There were LOTS of trips to the parks and they loved every minute of it. To help me not miss them so much I received about 7848512 pictures a day (per my request) of what they were up to...and it does not look like the kids missed me for a second (it is hard to miss mom when you are having so much fun). We are so blessed and fortunate to have our mom's so close to help out at the drop of a hat. I know that the like doing it too but it gives me good piece of mind to know that there is no one else out there that would take better care of them than Grandma. Here are some recent pictures that Grandma snapped for me while we were away. Thanks again for all your help Grandma's. I hope you know how appreciated you are!

First Day Of School...

Aubrey switched preschools yesterday and it has been AMAZING for her. Before this week she was attending a preschool one day a week for a few hours and although she loved it Justin and I could definetly tell she was ready for more. We placed her on the wait list at Colten's current school shortly after she was born (since we just want a part time spot it was much harder to find a reasonably priced school) and I am so glad we did. She absolutely loves school. We dropped her off with Colten yesterday and she didn't look back at us (it was the same way today). She was thrilled to be there and the teacher's commented to me both last night and this morning on how well she did (I get the mommy award yesterday as they were stuck there until the VERY last minute hence being the last ones picked up) everyone could not get over how easy it was to transition her. They say that when they already have a sibling there it is easier but not this easy. I didn't doubt for a minute that she would do great. She loves to interact with other children and also loves the extracuricular activites. I know with out a doubt she is our social child.

Getting out of the car at school!

After MONTHS of anticipation the kids are so excited for Aubrey to start Oak Groove!

The greatest kids ever so excited to FINALLY be attending the same preschool!

Daddy and Aubs. I think they love each other. So sweet.

Mommy and Aubrey getting ready to head in! She could hardly stand the wait! Missy SO excited to head in. I love her love for school!

Sweet Summer Time...

Is there anything better than summer?
