Stay With Grandma...

While we were in California the kids enjoyed a weekend with their Grandmas.

I had to get some last minute snuggles, and nail painting in before we left!

Friday after school they hit the pool!

Baked!

Went to the park!

Manhattan hill.

The music store.

and last but not least the lake!

Needless to say they did a lot more than they would have done if mom and dad would have been home!

California...

Labor day weekend Justin and I were able to escape reality for a few days and attend the K-State Standford game in California with some friends. It was an amazing weekend and I can't wait until next year when we get to do it again.

Friday was spent in Palo Alto exploring the Standford campus, and attending the football game.

Even thought the Cats came up short we had a wonderful time.

Saturday morning we got up and headed to Napa. We visited four wineries and enjoyed the beautiful day.

Sunday was more of the same! It was so great to not have to plan on go with the flow!  A much needed break for sure!

Monday we were up bright and early to head to the airport. I think everyone could have used one more day but I am thankful for what we got, and can not wait to do it again!
