Dance Competition #2...

We headed back to Wichita for dance competition #2.  It happened to land on Aubrey's actual birthday and she LOVED spending her day dancing, and with friends.  Once again they did an AWESOME job.

The MC brought her up on the state and then told everyone in attendance it was her birthday. She LOVED every second of that!

We ended the weekend with Chiptole brought to her by her Grandma Donna, and Grandma Karen - and if that wasn't enough Grandpa Mike, and Grandma Ginger took her to lunch at Pizza Hut.  She deserved to be celebrated all weekend long!

Dance Competition #1...

Aubrey had her first dance competition in the middle of February.  We traveled to Wichita to watch her perform and it was SO much fun.  She has worked SO hard at dance since moving to Clay Center and I could not be more proud of her.  When we lived in Manhattan she HATED dance so to see her out there smiling and loving every second it is such a blessing.  She is fun to watch and I am excited to see where this leads!

Claire didn't go with us to this competition as she had a birthday party and sleepover.  She was excited to find $20.00 in her Valentine from Grandpa, and Mimi.

Wordless Wednesday...

Man I love these kids! They bring SO much joy and happiness to our lives.

Baton Competition...

Claire had her first baton competition a few weeks ago and did an AMAZING job! It was when COVID was first roaring it's ugly head but before the big rules were set in place. Unfortunately it was just her and I that were able to attend but I LOVED every second of watching her shine.   She has such confidence when she dances.

I found this picture on her phone. I thought it was so sweet that she was proud of herself. She text it to everyone she knows I think.😃
