Basketball...

Claire participated in the basketball clinic in Clay Center this year. It was so fun to watch her have great success with it.  She loved every second, and the fact that dad got to coach her.

Santa...

The girls had the opportunity to visit Santa this year. Such a fun time.

Pups...

We had both Diggs, and Roxie at the same time for several weeks.  They were both wonderful pups and we loved them both very much.  We were blessed to find them such great homes.

Thanksgiving...

We had a WONDERFUL thanksgiving at both my dads and my moms house.  We are blessed with some wonderful people in our lives.

5K

Aubrey did the Girls on The Run program this fall and LOVED every second of it. She rocked her 5K (which was closer to almost 3.9 miles) with a smile on her face. I could not be more proud of the way she ran in the COLD, wet miserable circumstance.  She loved it so much she wants to do it again this spring.

Sick Kid...

Colten was VERY sick for about ten days this fall.
He was miserable and she had an obstruction in his intestine we were all so relieved when he turned the corner for the better!

Puppy Love...

We were able to foster this sweet puppy. When she came to us she was about three weeks old and could barely walk. It was so fun to see her transform into a crazy energetic puppy!

Jeret's Day...

Jeret's day was extra special this year surrounded by family.  We sure do miss him and can not believe it has been 12 years.  We love him with all our hearts and not a day goes by where we do not long for him.  We know he is watching over us from above and will take the VERY best care of us until we see him again. We are blessed to call him ours.

Jeret...

12 years ago today after just 27 hours on this earth my baby boy returned to Heaven. Our hearts were shattered that day and while we may never fully understand why he couldn’t stay here with us I’m thankful for all he taught me in those 27 hours.
Because of him I will never take a single day for granted, I will always take the extra hugs from his siblings and I will never let a day go by without telling the ones I love how much they mean to me. Because of him I’m a better wife, mother, and daughter. Because of him I’m mindful of the fact that life is precious and that there are lots of things that aren’t going to matter in the end so there’s no point in getting worked up over them. Because of him I am blessed beyond measure.
Do me a favor today and hug your kids a little tighter, don’t sweat the small stuff, and tell the people who matter to you that you love them. Do it because of him.
For someone who only spent 27 hours in this world he sure had a big impact.
Rest In Peace sweet Jeret. Your mom loves you with all her heart and I’m thankful I get to spend eternity with you.
