Colten tested for his black belt in karate (yes I am one proud mama) on April 20th, and passed! I am still in shock that I have a six year old who is a black belt! I would have never guessed that!
They started the afternoon off bu checking in.
Finally it was time for drills. Colten nailed them!
Then sparing! He did awesome in this category too!
After sparing it was time for bored breaks. He did not have very good holders but still was able to break both boards within his three attempts. He did make his mama nervous though in the process!

Bricen earned his senior belt.
And Colten earned his black belt! I am SO proud!
When you earn your black belt the owner of the studio place it on you! I had chills!

So proud of you buddy! Of course Justin was heartbroken that he could not be there in person but thanks to modern technology he was able to facetime and pretty much saw the whole thing! Not the same as physically being there but can't get much closer.
