Wow the past couple of weekends have been whirl winds! Crazy how fast they have gone. My hope is that this one is a much slower one!
Colten and I went to Omaha to watch the Cats play this past weekend. We had a great time (Aubrey decided she did not want to go so leaving Claire was an easy decision). It is nice to have some one on one time every once in a while.
We arrived Friday night with enough time to grab dinner and check out the hotel. Always a plus. He was all business once we got there, and his face proves that!
It was SO COLD at the game. It actually snowed during part of it! Crazy. This kid refused to snuggle in with me as he REALLY wanted to catch a foul ball.
During the 9th inning he finally decided that he wanted to sit and be warm with me. Crazy kid!
Saturday morning we got up and swam for a little while before hitting the mall.
We were thankful that the game was warmer on Saturday...not a ton but we took it!
Saturday night Justin, Colten, and I went to dinner and had lots of fun. We followed dinner with cheesecake for the Cheesecake Factory. Colten was shocked at the portion sizes!
Sunday was a lazy morning followed by lunch at PF Chang's before the game. Always a good time. Colten STUFFED his face and then ate some of mine too. The boy loves Chinese food! We headed to the game when we were done eating and for once the sun was shining! It was a great trip despite having to listen to the Wanna Build a Snowman song 7845127845127845 time on the way home.
The girls stayed at Grandma's house and spent the entire weekend outside. What a fun treat for them!

How blessed are we? Such a wonderful thing to have so many people that love our kids SO much!
