School!

Well Colten started School yesterday! I can't believe how fast the time went and that he is already starting pre-school! He loved it and is ready to go back today. It amazes me that he went so eaisly and was fine when we left. What a good boy!

I thought I would give you all a reminder of where Colten started. Here he is just a couple of days old. It's crazy to think about how fast time goes and I can not imaigne our life with out him. Thanks so much to everyone who helped us get him to where he is today. We love you Colten and are so glad that you enjoy school!

Kansas City!

Justin and I decided to take the kids to the new water park in Kansas City this weekend and we had an AWESOME time. It was so nice to get away with them and just enjoy the day. Even though it was a little cool we managed to stay for about five hours and only got rained on one time! The kids had an awesome time and so did Justin and I (we didn't bring the camera in because I wasn't convinced that there would be a good place to put it). After we left the water park we decided to go ahead and stay the night in Kansas City. We took the kidos over to the dinosaur cafe at the Legends to eat and then to Dave and Buster's. It was so much fun and we wish that we could do stuff like this all the time.

Okay so this one wasn't taken in Kansas City but I thought that I would share it anyways. We had some good Mommy Colten time Friday night.

Here they are after we left the water park. They were wore out! I think we would have stayed longer but they were getting GRUMPY!

Justin and Colten at the T-Rex cafe. I was worried that they would be scared but the loved it. We loved everything but the price!

Aubrey putting on her hard hat on! She didn't want to stand still long enough for me to take her picture but she tried on a dinosaur one too.

Colten tried one on too. They had so much fun!

Justin, Colten, and Aubrey playing games at Dave and Buster's??? Is that what its called? It sounds funny now?

Aubrey driving. She LOVED it. Needless to say they both cried when it was time to go!

Today is also a BIG day for Colten. He starts preschool today and we can't wait to hear all about it tonight. I can't believe how big he's gotten. I'm sure Aubrey and Grandma won't know what to do without him!

Colten the Photographer

Well this weekend we went to Justin's cousins wedding in Wichita. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a lot of fun. It was nice to see all of Justin's mom side of the family. Colten decided he wanted to take picture so rather than fight him for the camera I let him! He had lots of fun and it kept him entertained for a long time. The result of this was that we dont have any good pictures of the kids..oh well. Hope you enjoy. Congratulations again Amanda and Ryan!
Colten took Aubrey's picture and I liked it!

Lots of them turned out like this!

Colten took a picture of mommy and daddy, and a few of his favorite uncles, and aunt (and a million more)!

Fore

So I'm not smart enough to get more than one movie uploaded in the same post so each movie is going to have it's own post. Sorry!

Movie's Galore!

Well I decided it was time to upload some home movies of my precious children. Enjoy!

Summer Fun Continued

Colten, Aubrey, and Bricen getting ready to go through the nature center at Milford. I think they picked the hotest day of the summer to go!

Checking it all out with Grandma Karen, and Bricen.

Of course Colten found the park!

Aubrey on the slide. It looks beyond hot!

Taking a break with Grandma Donna.

As you can see the kids have had a great summer. Thanks to both Grandma's for taking such good care of you guys!

Summer Fun

All summer long Colten and Aubrey have been lucky enough to be watched by their Grandma's. They have had many wild adventures and have loved them all. Colten has really enjoyed all the time he has spent with his cousin Bricen. Aubrey keeps right up with them and does not miss out on much. Needless to say they are spoiled ROTTEN! However we would not have it any other way. Colten starts preschool on the 17th and I really think he is going to like it. I can't believe he is already big enough for school. It's amazing how fast time goes. Aubrey will stay with Grandma Karen, and Grandpa Mike during the day. I know she will really miss not having her brother around in the afternoon to play with. We are excited for all the changes that are going to come our way. I thought I would share a few summer photos with you so you can see for your self how much fun they really have had. Enjoy.
Aubrey at the begining of the summer enjoying the fresh air. I can't believe how much she has changed in just a few months. She is no longer a baby and is into everything!

Colten and Bricen playing. They do pretty well and don't fight to much!

Colten at the pool. He really enjoys it and loves it when you clap for him after he goes uner water.

Aubrey at the pool. She has no fear!

The two of them together. They have become best freinds this summer.

Spidermen! You gotta love this!

Colten and Bricen really enjoyed reading at the library once a week. In this one they are at story time.

At the park. They had so much fun together.

This really isn't the best picture of her I just can't get over how BIG she has gotten!

Colten and Bricen feeding the ducks! Aubrey slept through it this day.

And a close up of them feeding the ducks!

Out of fear of the upload failing I am going to continue the pictures in a second post. I hope you enjoy all of them!

Camp Out

My mom and her sisters decided to go camping (I know they are crazy) and on top of that they decided to take Colten with them. He LOVED the camping trip and did not want to come home with me at all last night! I'm glad he had fun and that he got to spend time with his cousins. He stayed the night out there on Wednesday night and we left last night at about 9:30. He was so wound up when we got home last night that he did not go to bed until after midnight. I'm glad that he had a great time.
Colten was so worn out from playing all day that he feel asleep in the canoe!

Aubrey and Colten telling me all about their canoe. They had a great time.

We even were able to use up the rest of the firecrackers from the 4th!

Colten's idea of roasting marshmallows. He wasn't a huge fan of the smores. I was a little surprised but he really doesn't like to be messy.

Aubrey has really discovered her face and facial features recently. Here she is getting ready to "honk" her nose.

Well needless to say they both had a lot of fun and Colten was already talking about doing it again!

Happy Birthday To Bricen

Well Sunday was a big day for our family! Our nephew Bricen turned 4! I can not believe how fast time goes, it's amazing to me that he is already 4 years old. We were lucky enough to be invited to his birthday party out at his dad's house where we enjoyed swimming and a cook out. The kids had a great time and so did we. Happy Birthday Bricen. We love you so much!
The Birthday boy in the pool. I know it's not a very good picture but it was the only one we got in the pool...

Sissy was tired after she was done swimming.

Blowing out the candles on his cake.

And finally a picture of my niece! Im not sure who took it but she will be arriving in late October, and I can't wait to meet her!

The Park

Well I am happy to report that we did not have a whole lot going on last weekend! After a very busy week we were thankful for that. On Saturday we decided to take the kids to the park as it is something we don't get to do very often. We had a great time and are going to make an effort to do it more often.

Aubrey and Daddy going down the slide. I love the look on their faces (it was a
REALLY fast slide)!

My favorite little man and I. He did a great job at the park and had his first experience using a port a potty! It was a little gross for my liking!

Our little princess. She loved the slides. She has no fear so it made me a little nervous.

Colten getting ready to slide. He was not nearly as brave as his sitter and would not go down any of the big slides. Oh well I guess it's good I only have one wild child!
