Happy Birthday Aubrey...

Happy Birthday to Aubrey! I still can't believe that this sweet girl of mine is already eight years old. It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital sicker than a dog worried about having a healthy baby girl.  What an emotional day that was!  To say we are blessed to have her in our lives just seems like an understatement.  From the moment she was born she brought joy, and happiness to everyone she crossed paths with.
Aubrey, I hope you know how much we love you. You light up every room with your sweet smile and bring me more love in and happiness in a day then I ever imagined having in a lifetime.  You were special from the very beginning by being born on leap day and I know you are going to do wonderful things in this world.  You came to us when our hearts were longing for Colten to have a sibling and you are exactly what your dad and I needed.  I hope your day is half as amazing as you are! We love you!

Pinocchio...

Aubrey had her first opportunity to audition, and perform in a local play.  She was so thrilled when she was picked as a baby doll in Pinocchio.  As you can tell from the pictures she loved EVERY minute she was on stage.
I love the look on her sweet face in all of these pictures.

You could tell once she spotted us! So cute!
Her only line was "mama" and she said it several times throughout the performance.

Her excitement after was amazing too! The two productions, and an all day rehearsal didn't wear her out one bit! I can not wait to watch her do it all again!

The icing on the cake was her two great friends where in it too!

Clay Center Tournament...

Colten had a wonderful time at the Clay Center tournament a few weeks ago.  He played great, and it is so fun to watch him improve from week to week.

It was a VERY long day of games, and a trip back to Manhattan in the middle but at they finished in second place and he was very proud of himself.  His sister was just happy to finally be going home!
