Wordless Wednesday...

Mommy Daughter Date Night...

Last weekend Justin took Colten to wrestling in Topeka so naturally the girls and I had to do something fun!
Claire was VERY sick all weekend so we had been cooped up for most of it.  We needed to get out of the house.

First my sweet Aubrey made this for me.  How lucky am I to be her mom?
We headed to the pet store!  They both LOVE the pet store and could spend hours looking around.

After the pet store was dinner, and then home to read.  I feel so lucky to be their mommy!  I think the boys need to leave town more often!

Feeling Groovy...

Justin, and I had a wonderful time at the kids school auction last weekend!  We can not wait to do it again next year!

Naturally the kids pulled off the look MUCH better than Justin or I could!

Happy Birthday Claire...

Today this little beauty turns three years old.  So hard to believe that this 7lb10oz girl is three!  I know I say it all the time but I so wish that time would slow down.  We try and enjoy every moment that we get to spend with our kids and that is something that will never change.
I remember one of the scariest days of my life came when I was 30 weeks pregnant with her and rushed to the hospital in Topeka with the chance of delivering her that very day.  We were reminded that August day that life is truly a gift and that we are not in control of her life God is.   That day I was reminded to truly appreciate all that we have been given.

Claire - You are so full of life.  The perfect piece to our little family.  Your brother and sister love you so much and while you do not always like the love they give you they mean the world to you.  Your mom and dad are totally smitten over you and your sass is the perfect reminder of why we love you so much.  Your smile, and eyes light up the room and I don't think the day will ever come where I am tired of hearing that sweet little voice say love you mommy.  You proclaimed that mom, and dad were the best last night after we let you open one of your birthday gifts.  I pray that you remember that when you are 16. I also hope that you always remember that we will always be here to love, and support you.  We may not be perfect but we will try our best to give you everything you need.  I pray that as you grow you are always grateful, that the sweet heart that God has placed inside of you is always aware of the people around you that need an extra smile or hug.  I hope you know how much we love you Claire Bear!

Babysitter...

Little Miss got paid for her first babysitting job a couple of weeks ago!  The love she has for all things baby amazes me!  She is going to make a great mommy in about 40 years! :)
She baby sits the owner of Colten's TWKD school little girl.  It's amazing how week after week she still wants to spend the entire time she is there with her.
Naturally before I could take a picture of her earnings she had to do a funny face.
Showing us her quarter!
Just like that we are back in tears because she was told we don't get to go back to karate until next week!

Bedtime...

The reason I do this blog is so I will ALWAYS be able to look back and remember all the sweet things happening in our life.  I want to remember the little moments as much as the big moments so to be able to journal them is a real treat for me.  Claire will no longer fall asleep without holding on to my hand and it melts my hear every night. I know it is awful that I have to be there to put her down but some day when she is 16 and hates me I can remember what a sweet little thing she use to be!

Pumpkin Patch...

We hit up the pumpkin patch last weekend with our cousins! I think it is safe to say that a wonderful time was had by all!
My big kids before going in.

Miss Addison!  She liked that pumpkin.
I think I fall more in love with this girl every day!
They had lots of pumpkins to choose from!
These three big kids were so excited!
They all three loved this big slide.  They seem so grown up and it was a little odd to not have to keep a constant eye on the two big ones. Bittersweet!  Wish they did not have to grow up so fast.

Miss Claire thought she hit the jack pot!
My big jail birds.

Claire also LOVED these little slides....I actually think she loved climbing through the dirt to get to it more.

I think the kids went down this slide about a million times.  It was FAST but so fun.

Colten and Carter were together the entire time.  I think Carter thinks he is as big as Colten.
Oh this sweet sweet girl.  I would have a million more kids if they were all as easy as she is.

After we played forever we hit the hay rack ride.  Such a fun treat on a cool fall day.

Then we hit up the petting zoo.

Can't wait to do it again next year. The only downside is that they will all be another year older!
