Surgery Day.

Well today is surgery day. The doctor's and nurses have been great to us here and for that I am very thankful! Colten went back with the nurse and Dr. Purdon no problems, and had a smile on his face! I am so grateful that Dr. Purdon does such an awesome job with Colten. He has been able to relate to him really well. The surgery is scheduled to start at 7:30, and I know that we will be so thankful to have this behind us! We are praying that it all goes well and we are able to take Colten home later today.

Colten Update...

Well I have another Colten update! That kid is always keeping us on our toes. We had a Clinic yesterday with the Children's Mercy doctors, and got WONDERFUL news. We are happy to report that his MRI results came back way better than expected. What they found was that yes his pituitary glad is not function where it should be but with that sad it is still function at a good level. Worse case scenario he will have to have testosterone shots when he is at puberty age but they will not know for sure until he is 11 or so. I'll take that over surgery any day! He has his surgery for tonsil's tomorrow so wish us luck! I have a feeling that I will have a grumpy boy for a couple of days!

Because I don't want Aubs to feel left out here is a picture of her too!

Riley County Fair

We ventured over to the fair this past week, and had a ball. Although it was REALLY hot it was still a blast. The kids wanted to do it all and we let them. I never thought that I would be one of those parents who attended the fair and dropped a $100in one evening but we are. I think we figured that we were not really doing a lot vacation wise this summer so why not let them have fun. We started by riding some rides, and then headed over to visit all the 4-H animals, followed by some more rides, a trip to the rodeo, and some more rides! Needless to say they loved the rides. The kids are still talking about their favorite part. Colten's was holding the baby pigs...he surprised me with that! Aubrey's favorite was the roller coaster. The girl has no fear. She had her arms up the whole time and was screaming with excitement. Justin and I could hardly watch her. We were both scared that she was going to fall right out of the darn thing. They are both already talking about what they are going to ride first next year! Sorry that the pictures aren't in any order but there are to many to sort through! Enjoy!

Mya Moo!

Just thought I would post a couple of pictures of the kidos and Mya. I can't believe how big she is getting! It's crazy! I love that Colten, and Aubrey have taken to her so well. I love being an Aunt!

Swimming...AGAIN!

I know that I have posted a ton of swimming pictures but they love the pool, and got new toys so I had to get some new ones posted! Enjoy.
