Well here is the newest on Colten. We went to the ear, nose, and throat doctor today. Colten did AWESOME, however we did not have the outcome I was hoping for. Instead of just having his tonsil's out he has to have his adenoids out as well, and tubes put in! Poor guy. The doctor said that he has so much fluid on his ears that he thinks it would be a VERY wise thing to do. He said that he thinks the adenoids are causing the fluid but he doesn't want to risk not putting them in and having the fluid come back if he were to just drain them. So not excited about all of this! I remember getting my tonsils out and it was AWFUL! He also said that he always hears things like you would if you were under water. Poor guy really does have a reason for not wanting to listen to his mama! Pleas pray for Colten. He is going to need it. We go to the urologist on Wednesday to see when he can have his testicle fixed, then the 27th we go talk to the Children's Mercy doctors, and on the 29th he has surgery. Phew...poor guy is going to have a rough couple of weeks.
