1 Year Old Check Up...

I love this sweet girl!
Little Miss had her one year checkup on the 25th.  I love taking her to these!  She weighted in at 20lbs 9oz which puts her in the 41st percent for weight, and was 28.5 inches long which puts her in the 31st percent for height.  She is just a little thing and I LOVE it.
She still seems so little to me but is becoming more independent every day.  I love watching her grow, and change daily.  She still is not walking yet but I do not think it will be to long.  She can stand on her own but really doesn't have a lot of desire to take steps.  Fine by me! I'm not ready to chase to that degree yet.
She loves her brother and sister, and they love her.  She crawls from room to room following them around and it melts my heart.
She barks like a puppy and it is the cutest little noise ever.  Claire also claps, waves, cheers, shows how big she is, and gives kisses!  What a smart little gal.  She has started saying mama the past few days and has had dada mastered for a while.  I think she is starting to put together who is who too.
So happy God knew exactly what we needed with our final baby girl!

Homecoming Parade...

The kids enjoyed the homecoming parade, and trick or treating in aggieville this past weekend.  I love finding excuses for them to wear their costumes more than once!  The parade lasted over an hour but the girls loved every minute of it.  Colten decided this year that he would rather be in the parade than watch it so he rode in the Hyvee van with Auntie Whit.
I love this picture of her...she can't move her arms.  She reminds me of the kid from Christmas Vacation!
She did enjoy a sucker, and sitting like a big girl!
Aubrey, and Amyah were busy having fun!  They are both so sweet.
Colten aka Thor in the HyVee van.
We can't wait to do it all again next year!

Chinese Food...

Pretty sure someone love her Chinese food almost as much as her brother and sister.  We had it last night, and she would take a bite, throw her hands up in the air while saying "mmmm".  Cutest thing ever.  I love my big girl! Of course she finished her meal with a Brithday Cupcake.

Wordless Wednesday...

Spooktacular...

We hit up Spooktacular at the zoo last Saturday, and it was a lot of fun. Since we had to squeeze it in between Karate Testing, and a 1st Birthday Party the time was limited but the kids did not seem to mind. They were thrilled to get to wear their Halloween costumes (and since we spent almost $100 on the three of them I am all for it).
OK so maybe Claire did not care that she had her costume on!  She is a slobbery mess so the bib is a common accessory for the girl! She slept the entire time we were there!
The two big ones enjoyed the trick or treating and seeing all the animals!  They can't wait for the homecoming parade on Friday, and to actually Trick Or Treat next week!

Karate Testing...

Colten had karate testing again this past weekend and flew threw it! I am so proud of my guy. He works SO hard at karate and I am so thankful that all his hard work shows. The two busy sisters kept us from taking many pictures during testing but I did get some of his new belt! I am sure when grandma finally decides to share the pictures that she took I will post those two. Only this belt and one more and he will be testing for a REAL black belt! So proud of you bud, keep up the good work!
Waiting to see if he passed!
Finally his name was called!
Being presented his new belt.
And hustling back to his spot!

Soccer Wrap-Up...

Colten wrapped up soccer last week, and just in time!  His last game was SO cold!  His sister was there cheering him on as he got his medal!  Good work this season Colten.  We are so proud of you!

Happy Birthday to Claire...

I had good intentions of blogging for my sweet girls first birthday yesterday however instead I decided to give her my undivided attention. It is so hard to believe that my baby is already a whole year old! Time truly does fly by. She has brought us so much love and happiness this past year and it seems like she has been with us forever. She truly was our missing piece. I can not get over how much her brother and sister love and care for her. They have grown so much since she has came into our lives and I think she has been a wonderful addition to their lives as well. Sweet Claire - I hope you know that you are our everything. You have the best smile and have away of forcing people to smile back at you. Your beautiful eyes make my heart melt, and your sweet personality is one of a kind. You still do not like to sleep through the night all the time but I don't make you! It is our special time together and I know it won't last forever so I am going to enjoy it for now. We have your bed in your sisters room all set up and ready to go but I haven't been brave enough to put you in it yet. I think it has to do with the fact that you are my last baby and I am not ready to admit that you would be fine in there with out me. Claire I hope that you always know that we would go to the moon and back for you and that we will always be by your side cheering you on. You are truly perfect (so are your brother and sister) in our eyes. Love you scary Clairey!
Needles to say we had one tired girl last night! These are the pictures we took on her FIRST birthday! Happy Birthday Baby Girl!  We sure do love you!

Instagram Photos...

Colten was playing with my phone over the weekend and took a bunch of instagram pictures. I thought that they were to cute not to share! Unfortunately he did upload them all to instagram (and some I would have rather not shared) with out me realizing it! Love that kid!

Wordless Wednesday (on Thursday)...

Sorry I forgot to hit publish yesterday!  Isn't she adorable under all that spaghetti?

Eye Doctor...

Aubrey was diganosed with a stigmatism in her left eye so glasses it is for her! Hopefully she wears them and does not lose - break them anytime soon! I do have to admit she looks rather sweet in them, and no those are not the ones we will be purchasing!  With a $310 price tag I told her we would keep looking!

Dentist...

My baby boy is growing up!  We hit the dentist hard last week (his permanent teeth are in but his baby teeth are still in front of them)!  Lucky for him he did not have to have baby teeth pulled.  The dentist thinks they will fall out on their own in the next couple of days...I hope she is right!  We did learn that he has a couple of cavities so a trip to the pediatric dentist in Topeka is in the near future!  We are lucky and the pediatric dentist here in town does not take our insurance.  Aubrey went to the dentist too but has no problems!  Lucky girl!

Pumpkin Patch...

We made a trip to the Pumpkin Patch last weekend! It was a great time. We tried a new one this year and it was the perfect size for the kids. They had a great time running through the corn maze, picking out pumpkins, petting the goats, and playing on the swings!
Love the look of excitement on Colten's face when we first got there!
Missy was excited too.  Look at all that drool!
They love each other!
We had a great time in the maze!
Colten found a foot!
Of course you have to have your picture taken with your head in the animals!
Picking pumpkins from the field!
Swinging with my almost one year old!
Okay so some of the pictures got out of order and I am to lazy to fix them!
Look at my babies! They make pretty cute animals!
On the hay rack ride!
Aubrey, Carter, and Addison.  Love those faces!
Next to the giant pumpkin!
So much fun!
