Eight is Great...

The party continued for this eight year old over the weekend! On Saturday we celebrate with Grandpa Jim, and Mimi. On Sunday we celebrated with Grandma Donna, and Grandma Karen. She is one loved little girl!

Claire cheered at the last high school football game and did an outstanding job. It is so much fun to watch her do all things dance related!

Claire Turns 8...

Claire had a GREAT time at her 8th Birthday Party! With a half day of school we headed to Manhattan and hit up Five Below followed by her favorite Orange Leaf.  From there we went to Bellus and the girls got hair, makeup, and nails done!  Such excitement for eight year olds.  Finally we swung by and picked up some pumpkins to melt crayons on when we got home. With Little Ceasers for dinner we had some happy campers.  The girls enjoyed decorating cookies, pumpkins, and a sleepover.  What a fun way to ring in year eight!

Eight...

Today my baby turns EIGHT! So hard to believe that the third and final baby is eight years old! The past eight years flew by in a flash and it brings tears to my eyes when I think about how fast the next eight years will go.  Sweet Claire. I say all the time if you would have been my first baby you would have also been my last and while I joke I know there is a reason God gave me you last.  You challenge me EVERY day.  You are strong willed and independent yet at the same time there is nothing you want or need more than your mama at the end of the day.  To say you are wise beyond your years would be a complete understatement.  You know what you want and you make it happen.  As the smarty pants of the family you excel in school and your teacher always adores you.  You are still quiet and reserved around other people and are slow to warm up but once you do you bring everyone joy.  I am convinced the reason you are so quite is because you have to completely figure out the situation before you can enjoy yourself.  You love dance, fashion, and makeup.  You also are picky about what to eat but once again you just know what you want. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET GIRL! WE LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW! Now stop growing up so dang fast.
