MLK Day...

The kids had a very busy Martin Luther King day this year!  Let me start by saying they learned a TON in school about the real meaning for the day and for that I am grateful.  I am impressed with all the facts that they recited each night!
Colten had a busy day of baseball camp at K-State. He was one of about eighty kids in attendance and did a great job. He had a proud daddy at the end of the day.  Her he is all ready to go.

Here he is playing in the field. It was hard to get good pictures with all the kids!
Miss Aubrey had a wonderful day too. She went ice skating and to see "The Nut Job".  She loved it all.

Weekend Recap...

We had a wonderful lazy Saturday at the house. It seems like those days are few and far between, and are going to be even worse with baseball season upon us.
Nothing like the kids playing with their daddy. SO sweet.
On Sunday morning when they woke up they were sad that daddy was already at work. I LOVE this picture!
It was finally nice enough to go to the park! We have been waiting for MONTHS it feels like.  What a perfect day for some outside play.

On Sunday after church I took the kids to chiptole, and it is amazing how much they all love it!
The burrito is as big as she is!
Miss Sassy pants. I LOVE her eyes in this one.
He is such a big boy. I swear he grows every day! Slow down time.

One SICK Girl...

Aubrey was very unfortunate this year and caught Influenza A. It was a very rough couple of days but I am happy to report she has made a full recovery. With her temp get as high as 104.5 we had some scary moments.  She also hallucinated which scared this mama.  She basically laid in bed and slept from Friday morning until Sunday night when she went to stay with grandma.  We were lucky that our moms were able to take both Colten, and Claire for the weekend, and they avoided the flu. I hope this is something that no one in our family catches again...EVER!
Look how soundly asleep she is.  She was so hot that she tore her clothes off because according to her they were on fire.  She also fell the weekend before and hit her nose, hence the bruise.

Finally a smile but not enough energy to sit up.
This is how we spent the whole weekend.
She did get up long enough to make an angel ornament with her daddy.
We MISSED these two!  They snuggled up together on Sunday. I love it.  To sweet for words.
Poor baby!

Christmas in Topeka...

We had so much fun on Christmas Eve in Topeka. It is always a great time to get everyone together as we are all busy and don't have much free time to just hang out.  We went over on Christmas Eve after mass, had dinner, and did some gifts.  How blessed are we to have two amazing great grandparents!  Can't wait until Easter now.

Party Time...

Can't believe this sweet girl is going to be 6 in just a few weeks! Time goes SO fast!

Christmas Day...

Wow! It's the middle of January and I still have two more Christmas parties to post about.
Christmas day we had my moms family at our house. It was a lot of fun.
My mom with her sisters, and dad.
My girl cousins and I.
Almost all the grand-kids. We are missing Brett.
We had a just dance party. It was fun, and the kids loved it!

We also celebrated a 1st birthday!

Played in a house/
and colored.
We all wanted to put our heads down by the end of the day! PHEW!

Sleepover...

The kids were able to have a couple of wonderful sleepovers at Grandmas over Christmas break! How lucky are they?
