End Of Soccer...

So happy to report that Colten's soccer team finished the team undefeated!  We FROZE through almost every game but he had fun, and int the end that's all that matters.
Miss Claire was a trooper at the games.  So thankful that I have an 18 month old that adjusts to whatever situation she is thrown into.
Colten showing off his skills!  Again for some odd reason the pictures are not staying in the order I put them in.

Aubrey was a trooper too.  Despite REALLY wanting to play (she is not old enough until next season, and Colten's coach was very odd about letting siblings anywhere near a ball during practice) she smilled, and cheered her brother on.  So proud of my girl.
Also a big thank you to both Colten's grandma's that came to a LOT of his games.

I love her sweet face.

Throwing the ball in was his favorite part.  By the end of the season he was pretty good at it!

Aubrey made LOTS of new friends.

Team Photo! We can't wait to do it all again next season.

Next thing on the agenda is T-Ball for both Colten, and Aubrey.  I can hardly wait!

Black Belt...

Colten tested for his black belt in karate (yes I am one proud mama) on April 20th, and passed!  I am still in shock that I have a six year old who is a black belt! I would have never guessed that!
They started the afternoon off bu checking in.
Once they were checked in they got ready to test.  Bricen was able to test for his Sr. Blue belt.
Finally it was time for drills. Colten nailed them!
Then sparing!  He did awesome in this category too!

After sparing it was time for bored breaks.  He did not have very good holders but still was able to break both boards within his three attempts.  He did make his mama nervous though in the process!

OK for some reason my pictures are out of order, and I am to lazy to fix them!

Finally it was time for results!
 Bricen earned his senior belt.
And Colten earned his black belt!  I am SO proud!

When you earn your black belt the owner of the studio place it on you!  I had chills!

 Showing off his BIG accomplishment!
Of course his grandma's were there to cheer him on!

Then it was time for fun pictures!

So proud of you buddy!  Of course Justin was heartbroken that he could not be there in person but thanks to modern technology he was able to facetime and pretty much saw the whole thing!  Not the same as physically being there but can't get much closer.
