We had a fun trip to Tulsa a couple of weeks ago to watch the Big 12 baseball tournament. It is usually in Oklahoma City but this year Tulsa had the bid, and it was not the same. While it was nice to have a few LAZY days in Tulsa we are ready for it to return to OKC next year.
The kids were being little hams when we arrived at the hotel. Such goofs!
We arrive late Wednesday afternoon and pretty much headed straight to the field as the Cats had the 4:30 game. We walked around for a few minutes and the girls HAD to put their faces in these. Made me laugh.
It was COLD the entire week as well so it was hard to want to get out and do much. Claire did amazing sitting through so many games. She was my little sidekick as she wasn't big enough to get up for random things like the two big ones were.
Of course any time you stay in a hotel you HAVE to swim! To say Aubrey was excited would be an understatement.
We went to the game on day two a little early and the kids played around in the outfield to get some energy out before our game. Again we were sad that we had to dress warm!
Aubrey really enjoyed the monkey bars at the park in the outfield.
These girls make me smile!
This sweet girl is never to far from my side, and I love that.
We got to spend lots of time with AJ and his mom. That was an added bonus.
We cheered loud for the Cats!
We also swam again!
This picture was after the final game. Always sad to see a season end but excited to see what the future holds. Colten was in tears when we lost because he would never get to see certain players play again. Aubrey was in tears because that meant that we were going home in the morning and she would not have the chance to swim again! Silly kids!
