After a five month break school FINALLY started on Tuesday for Claire. She is in the third grade at Lincoln this year. Her teacher Mr. Bent has the year off to a fabulous start and we are so excited to see the excitement that she comes home with each and every day. She truly has loved every second.
Since Aubrey didn't have school on Tuesday her and I enjoyed a coffee date. Hate that she is growing up SO fast.
On Wednesday Colten, and Aubrey started. Colten is in 8th grade, and Aubrey is in 7th. They weren't as excited as Claire was to be back in school but I truly think they love the social aspect. Colten is most excited for his Construction classes while Aubrey is excited to pay Volleyball and see her friends every day.
Really the only complaint is that they have to wear their masks ALL day. None of their classes are small enough to take them off. While I hate it for them eventually it will be come the new normal. They both agree that if that is what it takes to be in school it's worth it.
Salvy isn't sure what to do without his kids all day. On Wednesday he decided to try hunting and caught himself a bird in the back yard...naughty puppy!
