4th of July (weekend)!

We had an awesome 4th. It was a nice and needed three day weekend and we had the best of everything, we were able to spend time with both family and friends and were still able to hang out just as a family. It was really amazing. I just thought I would share some highlights. On Friday night we meet Grandpa Jim at Chili's for dinner and then headed over to Wamego to enjoy the carnival (however both kids HATED the rides). We finally convinced Colten that it was fun and he rode one ride the entire night (he did ride it over and over again). As for Miss Aubrey she wanted no part of it. She did enjoy watching everything though.

Saturday we had a few friends over for a 4th of July bbq. It was a lot of fun...other than Miss Aubrey HATED the fireworks. Oh well maybe next year. We were able to watch the cico fireworks from our house which was a huge plus. Yet another reason we are glad we made the move into town.

Sunday and Monday (we had Monday off not Friday). We laid around the house. We were going to take the kidos to the pool but Colten woke up Sunday morning sick as a dog. He is still not feeling well so we are taking him back to the doctor today. Hopefully they can do something for him. Its awful to watch your baby be so sick.

Okay now the reason you all really look at the blog. The picture. Enjoy! Hope everyone had a happy 4th!

Daddy and Colten colecting their prize on the "horsey game" Colten wanted the bull because it looked like Benny the bull from Dora.

Aubrey didn't like the rides but she LOVED the cotton candy Grandma and Uncle Brett gave her!

Colten riding the helicopter! The only ride he would ride. I swear he rode it for an hour straight!

Colten and Aubrey in the fireworks.

Colten and his sparkler. We were really close to him dont worry!

Aubrey and I...she wasn't completly convinced she like the fireworks.

This is what Aubrey really thought of everything!

Colten watching. He really liked them this year.

Again we hope that everyone had a happy 4th!
