Mini Golf...

Last weekend we decided to take the kids out to play mini golf. It was a nice night and Colten has been begging to go golfing for a while now. It is so sweet to see how into it all he gets. I think we have a sports nut on our hands. He gets so frustrated with Aubrey because Aubrey does not have the focus he thinks she should have. Everyone had a great time and there were some tears when it was time to go. Colten has decided that he needs a golf glove so that he can be as good as his dad (they were hitting balls after we finished putt putt). I love that he looks to Justin as his role model!
Here are the Love's of my life getting ready to play golf!

Colten on hole number one! He didn't quite get the concept of putting. He wanted to drive the ball every time. Not a bad thing but he came dangerously close to whacking his sister in the head SEVERAL times.

He had NO intentions of waiting on Aubrey and Justin, once he hit the ball in the hole he was off to the next one.

Aubrey had fun but got distracted REALLY easily...shocking I know.

She decided it was easier to carry her ball to the hole than to hit it several times to get it there so she would hit once, pick the ball up and then drop it next to the hole...goofy girl!

I told you he wasn't waiting for anyone!

Aubrey looking at us like we were crazy when we told her that she had to hit the ball clear to the hole, and could not pick it up and carry it to the hole.

Aubrey had enough so she went to instruct her brother!

Aren't they the best?

I have a feeling we will be out at Wildcat Creek a lot this summer, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
