MVP...

Colten finished micro soccer last week! He absolutely LOVED the experience. It was a little different that what Justin and I thought it would be (so many kids) but overall great. They went for a month and the first three weeks just practiced drills, etc. The last week consisted of games both nights. We missed one night (we were in California) but were able to participate in the final night. Colten did WONDERFUL! He ended up scoring four goals all on his own. On top of that he scored one in the parent game. What an amazing kid! He was so proud of himself and we were so proud of him. After the game his coach approached Justin and told him how great he did of course we agreed. She said that in the night he missed they lost EVERY game by a long shot, she also went on to say how great of a listener he is, and what a great job he does of focusing on the game. It's always so rewarding to hear things like that from some one with out a biased opinion. Naturally we think all these things but I LOVED hearing it from someone who hardly knows us. We can not wait for Colten to get a little older and be really involved in what ever activity he chooses...luckily it looks as though sports is on the top of his list!

Of course after his MVP performance we had to go out and get some ice cream!

YUM! Aubrey was happy that her brother did well enough to deserve some ice cream!

Awe...Aren't we cute?

Love that messy little face, and she LOVES her ice cream!

Enjoying some Ice Cream with Grandma!

He is ALREADY looking forward to soccer camp in July!
